On November 15th, 2018, Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev was a special guest at Ambassador Speaker Series organized by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey.
In his speech, Ambassador Stoytchev outlined the long history of relations between the Bulgarian and the Jewish people, characterized by mutual understanding and respect. He paid special attention to the Bulgarian-American relations and their strategic character.
Bulgaria’s actions in the fight against anti-Semitism were also highlighted – the Bulgarian government’s decision to adopt the working definition of anti-Semitism of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, and to appoint a National Coordinator for combating anti-Semitism.
