On May 4th, 2018, a concert of the 9th concert season for 2017-2018 of the Bulgarian Music Society in Washington was held at the Embassy of Bulgaria. The event was part of the European Month of Culture in Washington, DC. The concert was dedicated to the legendary Bulgarian opera singer Boris Hristov. Arias from famous operas by Mozart, Verdi, Lehar, Gounod, Petkov, and Hammerstein were performed. 
The director of the Boris Hristov’s Museum in Sofia, Mrs. Elena Dragostinova, presented a documentary film about the Bulgarian opera singer. A special exhibition dedicated to the Boris Hristov House Museum in Rome was presented by photographer Svetoslav Chulin.
