Senior corporate executives from IBM, Chevron, Raytheon, FedEx, HSBC, Motorolla met Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev on February 16th, 2018, at a US Chamber of Commerce working brief chaired by Chamber VP Marjorie Chorlins. 
The Ambassador highlighted the Bulgaria’s progress in economic terms, commitment to fiscal prudency and favorable investment environment. The country’s strategic partnership with the United States and its crucial contribution in securing stability and peace in the SEE region were particularly laid out. Ambassador Stoytchev drew special attention to Bulgaria’s advances in energy diversification, pointing to the IT sector, automotive components manufacturing, BPO, defense industry, agriculture and food production, tourism and leisure industries as highly promising areas for US businesses to get involved. Priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council were also presented.
