Today we mark the 179th Anniversary of the birth of the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski

On July 18 the Bulgarian Embassy held a ceremony to mark the 179th anniversary of the birth of the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski. The visiting Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Rumiana Bachvarova and Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev laid flowers in front of Levski’s monument. The Embassy staff paid tribute to his legacy with a minute of silence.
