Bulgaria presented traditional food products at the annual “Taste of Europe” festival, organized by the EU Delegation to the US and embassies of the Member States. The event took place on Capitol Hill and brought together members of Congress, representatives of the US administration and the diplomatic corps, as well as many friends of Europe.
The participating EU Member States showcased the diverse taste of Europe with signature European products, including cheeses, chocolates, pastries, deserts, and beverages.
The program of the event included a presentation of the newly released comparative report on EU and US agricultural industries and bilateral trade relations, which affect millions of producers and consumers on both sides of the Atlantic. The EU and the US are the world’s biggest agricultural producers and major players in the global agri-food trade.
